The Traveling Toddler STRAP allows you to attach your LATCH and top tether equipped toddler's car seat to a rolling carry-on suitcase.

Whether flying on an airplane or traveling by train or bus, it is safest and most comfortable for your child to be in a car seat. But traveling with a young child, their seat, and your carry-on can be tricky. Not anymore.

Simply attach the LATCH and top tether straps from the car seat to the Traveling Toddler and adjust the straps so that the car seat is held securely on the suitcase. Once adjusted, the car seat can be detached and reattached to the suitcase in seconds. Lift the handle of your carry-on bag and you have a fun new stroller.

Now there's an easy and inexpensive way to take your toddler's car seat and other gear on your trip. You do not have to buy a special seat or suitcase. As long as your suitcase handle locks in place, you can push it like a stroller. Your hands are free for check in and its simple to unhook for security. Keep your child safe and comfortable in their own seat instead of squirming around in a seat made for an adult, or worse, squirming around on your lap.

The Traveling Toddler has been tested with most major car seat brands including Graco, Eddie Bauer, Cosco, Evenflo, and Britax, and a variety of carry-on suitcases and has worked with every combination. It is important that the telescoping handle of your suitcase locks in place. If not, it might not stay extended when you try to push your child in front of you, though you would still be able to pull them. If flying, make sure that your car seat is FAA approved before traveling.

The Traveling Toddler strap is made from heavyweight polypropylene webbing that will withstand 900 lbs of force. When not in use it easily slips in the pocket of your carry-on. As with any other wheeled child carrier, do not use the Traveling Toddler on stairs or escalators.

We debated getting the go go kids travel stroller to attach your carseat too but at $90 it seemed too much for our once a year travel. At $25 you have money left over to get entertainment for the trip! You do have to take the carseat off at every security check but I believe that is how it is no matter what unless you have the carseat with wheels and handle built in. Very easy to use and it really does hold up with your child sitting in it. It was perfect for us and easy to store as it can fit in your pocket. Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!]

by Heidi Sullivan Date Added: Thursday 26 April, 2007 The Traveling Toddler worked great while we carted the carseat through the airport, however, the strap did not keep the carseat secure enough to strap my son in his carseat and use the carry-on as a stroller. Even though we didn't use the carry-on as a stroller because of safety concerns, the Traveling Toddler was well worth the money for the simple fact that with all of the other luggage, we didn't have to lug the carseat through the entire airport. The car seat stays securely on the luggage and does not throw it off balance at all. Be forewarned, this is simply a nylon strap with D-rings on it. Nothing elaborate, very simple and probably costs about $2 to manufacture packaging included. But, unless you are willing to make something yourself, it is the only thing like it on the market that I saw, and it is worth it. When I was traveling through the airport I saw many Moms wearing the car seats like a backpack, Ugh! This is a much better option and will make life much easier for you. Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!]
