My 20 month old daughter was going on a long trip in the car for the first time. I had been looking for toys and other devices to make the trip comfortable and intertaining for her. I looked on the Internet and came across different travel trays. The different travel trays had hard surfaces to aid in carseat activities like coloring. I liked the idea though, i didn't like that the hard surface could be a potential hazard if in a car accident. That is when I found Traveling with Kids. com. I was excited to find the Snack & Play Travel Tray. It was soft so not to be a saftey hazard on impact. It was easily put on and taken off of my daughter's carseat. On our long distance car trip my daughter was able to color and play with her toys with the ease of the Snack and Play Travel Tray. This made the trip more enjoyable for her and the rest of the family.

I was looking for some kind of table for my daughter to use on our many long distance trips we take in the car. After searching through many stores and websites, I found this one. We used it for the first time recently, and she loved it! She was able to put her coloring books on it, eat her chicken nuggets, and play with her toys. It even has pockets on the side for her sippy cup and stuffed animals. It was perfect. Even though it is soft, it is still hard enough for her to play and eat from, and things don't fall on the floor. This is a great buy -- I would get it for other travelers as gifts!

The primary reason I chose the Snack & Play tray was because it was "soft" and did not pose a safety issue in the case of a car accident. I ordered one so my five yr old child could test it. We used it for several months before I ordered the second one for my three yr old. There is enough firmness that it functions for food, balancing a small thermos of soup just fine. My kids also use them for coloring.

Just got back from our 2000mi road trip. This is a GREAT product, our 2 y.o. loved it. she ate off of it, she played on it, she rested her arms on it. great design w/ buckles on both sides so it's easy to take of whether your child is on the right or left side of the car. I would recommend this to anybody looking to convience their child.

While on trips, long or short, my grandson usually entertains himself watching videos. There has got to be something more constructive for him to do. Travel Tray allows him to color, play with his cars, and even play card games with Grandma.

We bought the travel tray for a 7 hour trip we are planning with our 1 year old. It works great to keep things on her tray, both snacks and toys. We are planning to fly in the next year, and I can't wait to try it on the plane. I would recommend this product to every family.

They are wonderful. We just got back from a trip to Chicago and they were so handy. We could put snacks and their art supplies on them and they do not fall off. There mother had gotten some that were a hard plastic, but she sent them back when I mentioned about these. I, Grandma, ordered them for them and we love them. They came so fast we were so pleasently surprised and pleased. I have told a friend about them for her granddaughter. Thank you, Jeanette Cashatt Kansas City, MO

I ordered this tray for my nearly four year old son, and it is simply fabulous! He LOVES his new tray! We used it on a 10 plus hour car ride, and he could play with his toys, eat, and it was even strong enough to hold a very small dvd player. I like the fact that the tray passed safety tests, that it's soft and won't harm him in an accident, and that it has sides to prevent items from rolling off.

I was debating between this and the Taby tray. I chose correctly for our situation. We were traveling on a long plane journey. The Snack and Play Travel Tray folded up for easy transport (stuffed in backpack or left attached to carseat). We could set it up and take it off to the side of our two-year-olds car seat with ease, per my son's whims. I really appreciated the pockets and the rims. Very useful for keeping things from dropping on the airplane. Also, my son liked to pull things out of the pockets to play with. Next time, I would use it more before the trip because it took some getting used to before he wanted it on his lap. The tray was not too flimsy for him to color on. I was concerned about this. I still think there may be some advantages to the hard surface of the Taby tray, and the cup holder, but I think the Snack and Play Travel Tray was perfect for our needs on this trip.

This is a great product. As anyone who has traveled with a carseat on an airplane knows, the airplane tray won't fit over the carseat leaving your little one with no place to play/place for drinks/snacks. This tray fit perfectly giving my toddler a place to spread out his toys and his precious pretzels and really made the difference. It is soft and flexible so travels pretty easily too (lets face it, your going to be bogged down with bags anyway, what's one more thing?!?)-and this one is well worth it!

We purchased (2) of the Snack and Play Travel Trays just days before leaving on vacation. They arrived on time which was wonderful. Our two children (ages 5 and 2) really seemed to like them. They were easy to put on and take off and worked for activities, snacks and at one point for a resting place for the head of our 2-year old while napping. We were very pleased with the product and it worked exactly as we had hoped. We can't wait to use them again on our next road trip.

A parent's lifesaver! We are on the road a lot with our very active 21-month-old. He hates being strapped into the car for long periods. It's especially hard when I'm by myself and can't play with him. I originally thought I woud have to buy a new car seat to find one with a tray to allow him to color. After much research, I bought the Snack & Play Travel Tray because I loved the tall sides, the soft material that would be safe in an accident, and that I could use it with a stroller, too. It's fabulous! It was easy to strap onto the car seat. I didn't even have to unhook the seat to get the strap around. I LOVE that both sides of the strap unhook from the tray so you can leave the strap behind the seat even when you're not using the tray. The high sides were the best feature, though. My son drops everything! So with any other tray, I would have to stop every 5 miles to pick up his cars, crayons, etc. This is great, and it's easy just to put a book in the bottom for a hard surface that he can color on. Obviously this was developed by a parent. :-)

This is awesome!!! My son uses this all the time. I thought it might be ok but WOW he loves it. He can snack on it, draw, play with small toys. He even wants to use for short trips like to the store and especially on the way home from the library so he can read! This is the best $20 bucks I have spent in a really long time. We used it on a 6 hour car ride and we didn't have to use the DVD player at all. I told my hubby that I wanted one for when I am in the passenger seat so I could do my sudoku!

Just wanted you to know that I brought 2 snack and play travel trays for my 2 Grandsons to take on their vacation since they will be traveling for 6 to 8 hours in the car. They are already using them while they are going around town shopping with Mom. They love them. My oldest Grandson is 4 years old and loves to write his name and letters and now these help him do this when he usually getting bored in the car. You all know, "Are we there yet?" The 2 1/2 yrs old just likes to color his animals. The trays are at the right level and snap in place easily. Love the big pockets on the sides to hold pencils and crayons, and the idea that nothing falls on the floor. I would highly recommend this product to all parents.
